Maplewood Health Care skilled nursing services generally are designed to follow a hospital stay, either on a short or long term basis. Professional nursing care by a dedicated team focuses on the special needs and concerns of each resident. Our physicians take the time to visit with patients and their families, answering questions and explaining medical care, treatments and the aging process. Many residents come to Maplewood for our successful approach to wound care staffed by a designated wound care nurse with a passion for focused care until wounds are healed.
We provide consistent, compassionate nursing care that truly makes our center a nursing home through a variety of innovative, comprehensive and interdisciplinary programs and involving our physical, occupational and speech therapists.

- Diabetes management
- IV therapy

- Tracheostomy/ileostomy care
- Tube feeding
- Post surgical care
- Subacute care
The healthcare team includes:
- Three physicians, including the Medical Director, visiting weekly
- Registered nurse
- Wound care nurse
- Social worker
- Dietician/nutritionist
- Activity professional
- Certified nursing assistants
Our quality care with a touch of home is also available to families needing a break in caregiving responsibilities. If only for a weekend or a few weeks, Respite Care residents are provided with a secure healthcare setting.
