At Maplewood Health Care, we enjoy seasonally updated flower beds. In our dining room, each table has a tablecloth and a fresh-cut flower arrangement and most rooms have a lovely view of the outdoor flowers from their window. Residents and families enjoy the gardens, flowers, and bird houses while outside on our beautiful covered patio or from a rocking chair on our spacious front porch.

Graceful Living is expressed both by how care is delivered by our staff and how we present and maintain our buildings and programs.

WE strive for pleasing surroundings -

• with bathrooms in each room decorated in muted colors with quality lighting and shower/tub accessories
• with semi-private rooms tastefully decorated with artwork. Residents can add special touches of home by bringing in some of their own artwork.

• with beautiful comforters on every bed and soft towels and washcloths supplied daily

WE strive for natural beauty –

• with seasonal updating of our outside flower beds and fresh flowers and plants in our inside public spaces

WE strive to keep people connected and active –

• with wireless “ hot spots”
• large televisions in public spaces for movies and local programming as well as the opportunity for each resident to have a television in their room
• with our “It’s Never 2 Late” technology program, we move touch screen computers/monitors on carts throughout the building, allowing for sharing videos of grandchildren, images of progress in rehabilitation, even the ability to talk with family via Skype!
• with a Wii game unit for exercise and entertainment
